About Us

The Maryland Undergraduate Research Journal (MURJ) was founded in 2022 to increase visibility of student-led research at the University of Maryland. Published annually, MURJ gives undergraduates the opportunity to submit research in a variety of disciplines. The journal is run entirely by University of Maryland students, with several faculty members in supporting roles. MURJ hopes to make the broader academic community more accessible to undergraduate researchers while promoting academic rigor and original thought.
